I provide Education, Reality, Guidance, Creativity, Accountability, Encouragement, and Support for their individual needs for Progress and Success. These client-centered sessions include confidential exchanges of personal, social, and medical information, along with some Humor and Sarcasm inserted when appropriate. This establishes a foundation of Trust and Caring in the relationship going forward.<br /><br />While these individual and family interactions primarily take place in a professional office location, frequently the communications and relationships with my clients continue outside of the formal setting. Texting, email, and even the traditional and seemingly outdated phone call are all utilized to maintain and strengthen client relationships.<br /><br />Many times over the years I have considered broadening the scope of my Lifestyle Counseling and Support model to a much broader audience through the use of social media and other messaging platforms. When I think about the reasons I have not done so, there are several that come to mind. They include lack of time, concern about the unknown, reduced time for client care, lack of experience with social media, and how posted information might be received. As a result, it&rsquo;s been easier to Not do it, just like it&rsquo;s easier to Not follow a Good Lifestyle. However, as I have told many clients over the years, &ldquo;What is easier is Not always right.&rdquo;<br /><br />In our current world of human physical and emotional suffering, there is no better time to share my experience, knowledge, and creativity with Y0U. With that decision, and in advance of presenting information, recommendations, support etc.., I want to be as clear as I am with my clients. There is no magic product that exists that I give my clients to help them towards their goals. It always begins and continues within themselves. Mindset leads. Physical actions and Self-Care follow.<br /><br />Expanding the scope from my local individual clients to Everyone is more than a bit daunting. Not only will I share the basics and specifics of a Healthy Lifestyle, but I will try to bring some creativity along with positive and optimistic sensitivity, especially given the current pandemic that is upon the world. Of course, humor, and even sarcasm can be good forms of positive thinking, and optimism too.<br /><br />I invite you to take as much or as little as your mind or heart desires. These platforms for sharing and disseminating information are open to Everyone. There are No national borders, No gender or race limitations, No age restrictions, No politics, No registrations, No costs, and Nothing to buy.<br /><br />You may not agree with some of the thoughts, recommendations, philosophies etc&hellip;These kinds of things are never like a one-size-fits-all elastic waistband. Take whatever works for Y0U. Even if you find only one part of mindset or physical lifestyle is helpful, it is still a Positive step. It is second nature to me because I have been using it with my clients for years. CYOL is Control Your Own Lifestyle. CYOL is basically bringing together what you know is right and doing it. With lifestyle basics, most people know what is right, but they don&rsquo;t do it anyway. This relates to another saying I have been using for years. Adults become children when it comes to lifestyle. They generally know what is right, but continue to choose wrong. Most bad decisions have consequences that force people to change. Touching a hot stove or petting a wild coyote for example. Lifestyle behavior is viewed differently for many reasons, which I will address in future communications.</span></span><br /><span></span><br /><span><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">There is no time more important than right now for proper Mindset and Self-Care as lives continue to be altered by Corona Chaos. Many of you have done a really good job applying the basics promoted by public health officials. Social distancing, sanitation, and other preventive measures. By contrast, traditional self-care has gone in the opposite direction. In reality, this is when everyone should be applying greater self-care with basic lifestyle behaviors. You know them. Sleep habits, physical activity, nutrition, fluid intake, supplementation, mindfulness etc.... You may be asking yourself, &ldquo;If I am avoiding infection, why does my lifestyle matter so much?&rdquo; Good question. Thanks for asking!</span></span><br /><span></span><br /><strong><span><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">Immune Function &amp; Symptom Severity</span></span></strong><br /><span></span><span><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">A few reasons why...</span></span><br /><span></span><ol><li style="color:rgb(42, 42, 42)"><span><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">Everyone has some level of risk of contracting infectious diseases from colds to Corona.</span></span><br /><span></span></li><li style="color:rgb(42, 42, 42)"><span><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">If your lifestyle is good, your body and immune system are better equipped to prevent an infection from taking hold.</span></span><br /><span></span></li><li style="color:rgb(42, 42, 42)"><span><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">A good lifestyle will almost certainly reduce the severity and duration of any illness.</span></span><br /><span></span></li><li style="color:rgb(42, 42, 42)"><span><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">You are reducing your basic risk factors for diseases like obesity, heart disease, cancer, diabetes etc....You know the list. These conditions have clearly shown that they are linked to more severe symptoms for those who have contracted Covid-19.</span></span><br /><span></span></li><li style="color:rgb(42, 42, 42)"><span><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">There are many more but you get the point.</span></span><br /><span></span></li></ol><br /><strong><span><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">&#8203;Mindset &amp; Self Care</span></span></strong><br /><span></span><span><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">Wait, didn&rsquo;t I start with this? Yes! That is how important mindset is in successfully applying self-care and lifestyle permanently. For now, just recognize this and consider whether or not making any effort to change self-care behavior is worth it to you. If so, think about the following words and phrases as you prepare mentally to improve your lifestyle. Permanent Lifestyle, Consistency, Controlled Flexibility, and CYOL (you know what this means).
